Our Teachers
Millie is our Co-Founder and instrumental teacher at J&M Music Services. She currently teaches piano, flute, clarinet and saxophone to a wide range of students as well as working as a piano teacher at a local secondary school.
She graduated from the University of Huddersfield in 2021 with a BMus degree in Music and currently works as a Musical Director for Amateur Dramatic Societies in the West Yorkshire area, as well as performing in pit orchestras around the UK.
At the moment her teaching schedule is full and will not be accepting new students. If interested in lessons with Millie, please get in touch to be added to her waiting list.
Melanie is one of our wonderful teachers based in Thorpe, Wakefield, offering lessons in piano, flute, clarinet and saxophone, as well as music theory sessions.
She has over 27 years of experience teaching all ages and abilities and will provide an individual bespoke programme for each student whether they are wanting to enter exams or learn for pleasure.
These lessons can either be at Melanie’s studio, online, or for a small additional fee she can travel to you.
Melanie’s Availability:
Tuesday - Friday: 9am - 3:30pm
Saturday: 11am-6pm
Oscar is a classically trained violinist, pianist and guitarist who now plays and teaches a wide range of genres. Whilst studying at the Royal Northern College of Music, he had a fantastic teacher who inspired in him an acute interest in genres of music such as Klezmer, Tango, Gypsy, Jazz and Folk.
Oscar loves that music for him is both his job and his passion and he is absolutely thrilled to take on some new students to share his love of music to.
He is happy to teach those looking to learn for pleasure or those looking to work through music exams.
He is taking on students Monday - Friday, from the end of February, offering lessons in violin, piano and guitar.
Oscar is based in Beeston, Leeds, but is happy to travel to other areas in Leeds for an additional small fee.
